Armatures returned so far for the buy-back program!
My kids had fun helping me spread them out in approximate chronological order
Hey all, I wanted to give you an update on how things went with the buy-back program we launched in February.
It’s been great! Many people have successfully been able to return their old armatures in exchange for a full refund in the form of a store credit. And some have already used their store credit to purchase a replacement.
Check out what sculpture artist Sophie Cartier said:
Hi Paul! I just received my package! What a cooooool product and design! I just put him in a pose and laid it on the stovetop surface to make sure he was standing up not too wonky and the feet just grabbed onto the metal (forgot about magnets). I am stoked! The fingers! The hip gears! The business card! Everything is… wow.
I’m glad you offered the switch. Awesome figure.

As you can imagine, I was sooooo thrilled to hear this. And impressed with her incredible artwork. Plus she also does cake-top design which totally made my heart smile to know A9 was embraced by someone in this unique artistic discipline.
Still accepting returns!
So this is the news. If you own a 2012, 2013 or even 2014 armature that cost you $45 or less. You can still return it for a full refund in the form of a store credit. We’re only accepting the 11″ and 5.5″ bipeds (known as Rangers and Riders), however. And your store credit will apply only toward a purchase of the same but new version of whichever you return. So if you return a $20 v.2013 Ranger, you’ll get a $20 store credit to purchase a new version of Ranger for $20 less. If you’d like to return Rangers from 2015, 2016 or even 2017, you may do so as well, but bear in mind the refunds are capping at $45. This offer will remain open indefinitely.
Now for those out there that have already taken advantage of this program and are holding onto your store credits, you can add it to today’s 50%-off sale by messaging me via email and I’ll refund you the appropriate amount. Please reply to the email that included your coupon code so I know how much to refund you and which code to make use of.
Thanks everyone! I appreciate now more than ever the immense amount of patience everyone has shown with me over the years as I’ve developed this product. I really can’t imagine where things will be a year from now, but that’s one of the things that makes A9 such a unique evolving product.
