Good news! Google has reinstated our account so we can now sign into YouTube again!!
This was definitely a thorny reminder about how important it is to gradually move everything over to A9rig.com like I’ve been doing. But at least in the meantime I can continue moderating the channel during this transition.
They gave no explanation in the end. As far as I can tell some algorithm thought I broke the rules and instead of giving me any sort of strike or warning, just took down the account.
What a terrible system! The more non-human the systems that rule us, the more inhumanely we will be treated.
I swear I’m about ready to jump ship and become a nomadic hunter gatherer 🙂
